Prof. Pablo Brañas is Professor of Behavioral Economics at Loyola University Andalucía, a position he has held since April 2018. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics, a member of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of IMV-RCT (MISSM) at InclusionGob, founder of the Spanish Network of Experimental and Behavioral Economics (Red E3C), and a member of the ESRC College. His research focuses on behavioral economics, experimental economics, and the application of behavioral insights to social and economic development.

Prof. Isabelle Brocas is Professor at the University of Southern California and the co-director of the Los Angeles Behavioral Economics Laboratory (LABEL) and the Theoretical Research in Neuroeconomic Decision-making (TREND) Institute. She is also a Research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST). Her research revisits standard theories of decision-making and aims at better understanding how people make choices, what motivates them and what cognitive limitations prevent them from making rational choices.

Prof. Juan D. Carrillo is Professor at the University of Southern California and the co-director of the Los Angeles Behavioral Economics Laboratory (LABEL) and the Theoretical Research in Neuroeconomic Decision-making (TREND) Institute. He is also a Research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST). His areas of specialization are Neuroeconomic Theory, Microeconomic Theory and Experimental Economics. He is particularly interested in studying how choices change from childhood to adulthood.

Fr. Hilarion Raphaël Rakotoarison, SJ is President of U-Magis (Magis University), Madagascar. Fr. Hilarion Raphaël Rakotoarison, SJ is a Jesuit priest, economist, and theologian serving as President of U-Magis (Magis University) in Madagascar since 2019. He holds a Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University (USA), specializing in socio-political and economic ethics, and a Master’s degree in Development Economics from the University of Montreal. His work focuses on poverty reduction, ethical development, and the role of education in promoting social justice and human dignity.

Malalatiana Rajaona Ambinintsoa is a Predoctoral Research Assistant at the Los Angeles Behavioral Economics Laboratory (LABEL) at the University of Southern California and a PhD student affiliated with MissionLab. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Umagis University in Madagascar and a Master of Science in Quantitative Economics (QED) from the University of Alicante. Her research interests lie in behavioral economics, experimental economics, and labor economics. She is particularly interested in morality and ethical decision-making, focusing on the gap between what individuals believe is morally right and how they actually behave in practice.

Dr Adriana Gaviria is Assistant Professor at the Economics Department and researcher at the Loyola Behavioral Lab, where she coordinates TheMissionLab. She earned a BSc in Economics and a MSc degree in Cultural Studies from Los Andes University. She then completed a PhD in Economics at Fluminense Federal University. She has a long experience on public policy evaluations.

Atrika Rakotonjanahary Mamitiana is an Assistant Researcher and PhD Candidate at Loyola University Andalucía. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Project Management from the Institut Supérieur Polytechnique de Madagascar, a Master’s degree in Economics and Empirical Policies from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). He is also the Lab Coordinator of MABEL. His research focuses on social networks, behavioral economics, and empirical methods applied to development and social issues.

Anaïs Newton holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Magis University, Madagascar, and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She is currently a PhD student in Economics at the Université Côte d’Azur and a researcher affiliated with Burgundy School of Business (BSB) in Dijon. Her research interests lie in understanding human behavior and identifying societal and policy mechanisms that can reduce inequalities and improve social welfare. She is particularly interested in behavioral economics and public policy.

Dr Monica Vasco is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Los Angeles Behavioral Economics Laboratory (LABEL) at the University of Southern California. She earned her PhD in Data Science and Experimental Economics. She also holds an MSc in Economics from the University of the Basque Country (2022), and an MSc in Data Analysis from Loyola University Andalucía (2021). Her research interests include behavioral economics, impact evaluation, adolescent behavior, social networks, and decision-making. In addition to her research activities, she serves as Data Manager for TeensLab.

Ninon Tsilavoniaina Harenasoa Nomenjanahary is the IT Manager at U-Magis (Magis University), Madagascar. He is responsible for the development, maintenance, and administration of the university’s information technology infrastructure and digital systems. His work supports academic, administrative, and institutional operations across the U-Magis network, contributing to the university’s digital transformation and innovation initiatives.

Caroja Nirintsoa Ratsizafy serves as Executive Assistant to Fr. Hilarion SJ, President of U-Magis (Magis University), Madagascar. She supports the coordination of administrative, academic, and institutional activities across the university network. She is also involved in project management, communication, and organizational development initiatives that contribute to the growth of U-Magis. Caroja holds a background in agricultural sciences and has conducted research on biodiversity, beekeeping, and sustainable rural development in Madagascar. Her work reflects a strong commitment to education, community development, and environmental sustainability.

Bertrand Ravalisoa Sitrakiniaina  is an IT Assistant at U-Magis (Magis University), Madagascar. He supports the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the university’s IT infrastructure, including networks, computer systems, and digital equipment. Working closely with the IT Manager, he provides technical support across campuses and contributes to the implementation of technology solutions that support teaching, research, and administration.
